Feedback on group stimulus

In today's dance class we were given feedback on what to improve on in our group choreography. For example, one of the improvements is to keep the dance more contained in terms of spacing. During the section when the two different group dances in unison. The use of the different relationships within the dance are used to portray the reaction and impact that the drug heroin is having. Through our stimulus the drug is a symbol of what is controlling us and drugs are a symbol of what actions that we choose to do. For our group stimulus we used the choreographic devices of repetition. For example, one way of how we used repetition within our dance is from the motif development of when in the duet. That I created a gestural movement of symbolising suffocation of how people take drugs. This movement that I created in the dance to suggest show society is holding us down(symptoms are the downfall of the drug addiction).
